Our love for the Shih Tzu began with our youngest daughter’s desire to own a little dog of her very own. She purchased Daisy in the spring of 2010 and a year later we welcomed Rose into our family.
As of January 2015, Daisy and Rose have been retired from our breeding program. In place, we have Violet and Jasmine (Daisy’s daughters) and Ginger.
Our Shih Tzu’s are raised in our home as part of our family. Living on a farm affords them the opportunity for adventure and plenty of room to run and play!
All of our adult dogs are registered with the AKC.
Our puppies come to you accustomed to the sights and sounds of an active household and large family! They are socialized with people of all ages, cats and large dogs. We work with them on house training. They are handled many times a day and groomed frequently. We take them outside for playtimes and work with them on using stairs. Our puppies are fed a diet of quality kibble and raw meat/bone, free from animal and plant by products and grains. Your puppy will come to you vet checked, dewclaws removed, dewormed, first vaccination and with a puppy bag filled with a blanket, toy, chewies, treats and food to get you started.
Selection
You may make your selection when the pups turn 6 wks. old. The order in which I receive deposits holds your pick placement for that litter and I will recommend good choices for your family depending on your needs/wants.
Pricing
Our Shih Tzu pups range in price from $650-$850 for a family companion placement and are priced individually after 4 wks. of age. Price is determined by size, color and gender. Full AKC is available by request to approved breeders at a different price. Please contact me by phone to discuss.
Deposit
Our Shih Tzu puppy deposit is $300. This deposit is non-refundable and is placed towards the purchase price of your anticipated puppy! Deposits are accepted by POSTAL MONEY ORDER or PayPal only. If sending by mail with a purchased postal money order, please send by 2 day priority mail with tracking. A 3 day courtesy hold will be placed for your puppy preference. If deposit is not received in that time, puppy may be offered to the next family waiting. By placing a deposit, you understand that is not refundable (because I have turned away other families to hold your spot), but can be forwarded to the next available litter, and you agree with the terms of our contract and health guarantee. Adding a Shih Tzu is a long term commitment to be considered carefully!
